There is a very big difference between getting eyeliner and getting lash line.
A lash line enhancement is done where pigment is placed in between your lashes giving you a very natural look.
Eyeliner is done above your lashes where you can have a beautiful wing or cat eye look.
You should massage eyes with cotton balls and cool water for the first 24 hours to remove any blood and to avoid scabbing. No makeup for 7-14 days until the eyeliner is 100% healed.
Swelling typically occurs in the first 24-48 hours after permanent eyeliner application, so this is the most crucial time to use ice packs on your eyes. This will help to reduce and eliminate swelling altogether. You should never use an ice pack in one area for more than 10 minutes at a time, though.
This is due to oxidation of the pigment and the redness of the skin. After three to four days, the color will become lighter as the epidermis sloughs off and the skin heals over the pigment. During this time the color will seem to disappear as the skin is opaque during this healing time.
We recommend to do retouch (correction) every 2 years in order to see the best results of permanent makeup. At times you can start noticing the color fading in a year, typically between in 2-3 years. However, every person holds the pigment differently.
No makeup is to be applied for 72 hours (three days) after the procedure on the tattoo area. After any eyeliner procedure, use new mascara for the first 10 days after the 3 days of no makeup. Do not use an eyelash curler for two weeks.
You can wear the eyelash extensions and eyeliner tattoo at the same time, but unfortunately eyelash extensions need to be removed at least 3 days prior to the eyes micropigmentation. It is also crucial to wait at least 3-4 weeks for complete healing to occur, before new eyelash extensions will be applied.
